Chef Partner Chris Pandel is the embodiment of Midwestern warmth, and it shows in his food. Rooted in global flavors, Pandel’s food brings effusive goodwill, a love of community and a deep appreciation for quality ingredients to the table. Known for his handmade pastas and locally-sourced ingredients at The Bristol and Balena, Chef Pandel currently helms the kitchen at steakhouse phenomenon Swift & Sons, adjacent seafood eatery and bar Cold Storage, and Wrigleyville tavern Dutch and Doc’s. At Cira, Chef Pandel pays tribute to a diverse range of flavors and culinary practices born of the 21 countries that touch the Mediterranean Sea. Cira’s menu centers on small plates and shared feasts, nodding to traditional preparations while leaving room for experimentation.
